A draw was a natural consequence since neither team wanted to risk anything

So far Lazio were struggling. They were 15th just one point above the relegation zone. They had managed to win four games but had lost 7, including the derby.

The match

The game played just before Christmas was very slow and the defences prevailed. Lazio however played better and in the 4th minute went ahead. Henglebert Koenig was quick to shoot into the net after a massive scrum in the Milan box.

The Rossoneri did very little to score but managed to equalise in the 37th minute. A Mario Tosolini-Riccardo Carpellese one-two, the entire Lazio defence was caught unawares and Carlo Annovazzi powered a shot that beat Corrado Giubilo.

In the second half the teams canceled each other out and absolutely nothing worth mentioning happened

A boring match, the teams were too worried to lose to be able to create anything dangerous.
