Giordano Roggero was born on May 14, 1908 in Ozzano Monferrato near Alessandria.

He started playing football as a defender with Casale in 1929 and stayed six years making 163 appearances with one goal. He won a promotion to Serie A in 1929-30 and played four seasons in the top tier before the club was relegated in 1933-34. After one final year, in 1935 he moved to Lazio.
He did not play much in the first team, just 3 appearances, but played more with the reserves.
After a season he signed for Brescia in Serie B then a year later moved back to Casale. His last two years of active football were with Biellese in Serie C.
He died in Casale Monferrato on January 17, 1981.
